Build The Trust You Want In Your Relationship

Introduction

Over the past month you’ve discovered why trust is so important and learned ways to strengthen it. I want to emphasize this point with a quote from my book Growing Into Your Parenting Role.

"Think about it: do you have any lifelong friends you cannot trust? You have friends who are vastly different from you. They may have habits you personally disapprove of, behavior you "would never exhibit, tell jokes that make you cringe, or personal/political beliefs that are just the opposite of yours. All these things you can accept. But trust is usually nonnegotiable."

What's The Next Step?

Trust doesn't just happen. You have to build it into your relationships. That puts the pressure on you to learn how to build trust... and how to sustain it.

That's where we come in. Our Building Trust with Your Parenting Team training pulls from decades of personal experience and comprehensive research to provide you with tools you can use to master the trust-building process. This training includes:

  • Tips for building trust.

  • A detailed trust assessment instrument that identifies gaps in the level of trust in your key relationships.

  • An action planning tool to guide you through the process of applying your learnings to your current situation.

  • Our extended version of the Raising Kids / Growing Parents Podcast on Building Trust with Your Parenting Team.

Why Do It Now?

Whether you are just starting your relationship or celebrating years together, if trust is an issue, our trust-building training may be just the thing you need to improve (or save) your relationship. Participants have told us that focusing on trust improved their relationships more than any other single change.

One participant shared: “After using the trust tools from AP Academy, my partner and I feel like a real team again. Even our kids are happier.”

That’s the ripple effect. When trust grows, everyone in the family feels safer and more connected.

You can find this training in our AP Academy store, along with our other Foundation modules. Investing a little time now can save a lot of heartaches later – and give you a happier home today.
