We are thrilled to welcome you to the launch of our adulting and parenting support community. The Raising Kids / Growing Parents (RKGP) community grew out of Bill Shackelford's deep love of parenting and his passionate commitment to ensuring that the lessons he learned over his 43 years of marriage are passed on to the next generation.

Lessons he first shared in his book "Growing Into Your Parenting Role" now are being shared in engaging podcasts and self-paced learning material.

A great place to start your journey is with an assessment of where you are right now. Our complimentary Adulting & Parenting Training Needs Assessment instrument is designed to help you evaluate your current strengths and areas for growth as you start your journey to grow your adulting and/or parenting skills.

Based on the principles outlined in the book Growing Into Your Parenting Role by William (Bill) Shackelford, this diagnostic tool identifies the foundational, growth, and leadership skills needed for confident adulting and intentional parenting. You can use this assessment to guide your adulting and parenting skills development journey. It is available for download at no cost.
